This is basically what I am trying for all the time when I open my mouth, for better or worse. If I can learn to preach like Craig Ferguson does this monologue, I'll be done.
It was from a while ago. I've just realized that Craig Ferguson is my public-speaking-hero, so I'm going backwards through his work. After an interview with him on NPR, I really like how he approaches being a semi-celebrity.
EL: You're doubly lucky. I've seen some of his earlier standup, when he was still drinking, and it isn't that good. Now, though, I think he's incredible.
Have you heard the NPR interview with him? It's really what sold me on watching him overall.

I get to see him live when he comes to Denver on a comedy tour in January! Yay!
